We are a young couple who decided to change direction after working in University administration.
When we holiday we enjoy staying in small hotels and B&Bs, eating out at independent restaurants and seeking out unusual museums - ask us for some of our favourites!
We are new to the area so are trying to explore as much as we can so that we can make interesting recommendations for our guests.
We try to minimise plastic waste wherever possible so instead of individually wrapped toiletries we provide a refillable alternative containing Scottish Fine Soaps, Sea Kelp range. We recycle wherever possible and try to generate as little plastic and non-recyclable waste as we can.
Our cleaning products and laundry detergent are natural and eco-friendly where appropriate.
We try to support local business as much as possible. Our meat is sourced from Haigh's of Workington, traditional butcher and we offer a selection of speciality teas from y-Tea, a small West Cumbrian company.
